[edit]I do belive that "Faz" refers to face of an object, and is rarly, if not never, used to refer to someone's face. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 145.53.150.58 (talk • contribs) 16:40, 16 September 2008
irrelevant?
[edit]This article has a whole section talking about what "face" is in other languages, but it doesn't say anything about his actual character. Who he is, what his role in the team is, his history, etc. Compared to other members of the A-Team, this page is grossly unrepresentative. -67.51.67.62 (talk) 17:19, 20 May 2010 (UTC)
- Oddly enough, there is information about Face's father on Murdock's page, but not Face's. *facepalm* --Boycool42 (talk) 20:36, 26 July 2010 (UTC)

Templeton "Faceman" Peck → Templeton Peck – The current name is used as much as Templeton "Face" Peck, Templeton "The Face" Peck, and the proposed name. I prefer the name that omits "Face(man)" because these nicknames are too competitive. Although WP:NCP doesn't apply to this A-Team character, I don't want people to debate on "Face" or "Faceman". --Relisted. — Amakuru (talk) 10:53, 17 December 2013 (UTC) George Ho (talk) 21:07, 9 December 2013 (UTC)
- Weak Support. I'm not sure how useful ngrams is for this case but Templeton Peck does see a large spike in the eightees [1]. Zarcadia (talk) 19:02, 17 December 2013 (UTC)

- Oppose to maintain consistency with B.A. Baracus, John "Hannibal" Smith and Howling Mad Murdock. Also, how many times was he referred to as "Templeton Peck" in the TV show? WP:COMMONNAME applies. (So it should really be Faceman or Face (A-Team character) - whichever is given preference in reliable sources.) ŞůṜīΣĻ¹98¹Speak 05:57, 2 January 2014 (UTC)
- Searching for "A-Team Face" or "A-Team Faceman" without real name is time-consuming more than "templeton peck". As for the show, a bunch of episodes are not enough to determine a commonly-used name. Non-primary sources use Templeton Peck, as well as "Templeton Face Peck" and "Templeton Faceman Peck", which are too competitive. George Ho (talk) 09:54, 2 January 2014 (UTC)
- I take your point about Face/Faceman being potentially divisive. But there aren't really any decent sources in the article so all I have to go on is the TV show itself. I still think Templeton "Faceman" Peck is appropriate, to maintain consistency with John "Hannibal" Smith, et al. ŞůṜīΣĻ¹98¹Speak 16:32, 2 January 2014 (UTC)
- Are these decent enough: [2][3][4]? As for consistency, commonly-used names based on natural disambiguation and reliable sources are used instead of parenthetical disambiguation. "B.A. Baracus" doesn't have to be exactly consistent, unless you want it "Bosco Albert 'B.A.' Baracus", which is not widely used. In this case, consistency isn't exact. --George Ho (talk) 19:29, 2 January 2014 (UTC)
