I did say to holdon in the edit summary when I created it, but anyway... I think I do agree that "Continually failing to win office does not win you notability." Well, actually it does, the person becomes a known perennial candidate, but maybe not WP Notability. Continually failing to win the highest office in a country, e.g. US Presidency may qualify as notable - many people do this, but it's still a small enough number. But that wasn't why I thought she deserved an article. She's unusual in being one of only a few women to run for the Republican nomination (a couple major candidates, and a handful of fringe candidates, of which she is one), and for the number of ballots she managed to get herself on, and for the fact that she wrote an autobiography. In addition to that, there's the fact that she engaged in litigation to get on the ballot, information about which I will add. Шизомби (talk) 23:57, 18 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You can remove the prod, if you like (there's no hurry; prods do not become eligible for deletion until after 5 days). I'll hold off for a few days before nominating for AfD; may hold off forever if I think she's notable following your changes. RayAYang (talk) 23:59, 18 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. Note also she was redlinked already from some Republican primary templates. Granted, one could remove the links, but here I think she warrants keeping for the reasons I mentioned above. She's also something of an interesting character, running for President in large part because she was angry about getting in trouble for driving an uninsured car!
