What's the copyright situation on back-cover blurbs used in advertising/sales? Can I copy the novel blurbs from Outpost Gallifrey, or would that be a copyright violation? —Josiah Rowe 04:35, 20 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Probably best to just rephrase it - err on the side of caution. --khaosworks (talkcontribs) 06:39, 20 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I'm proposing a merger with the Talk:Ninth Doctor Adventures -- see discussion page there. Bondegezou 12:13, 6 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Amazon book cover images

[edit]

Amazon has the covers for Resurrection and I Am a Dalek on their site now. I don't know what the rule is on using them in Wikipedia but I thought I'd pass that along. 23skidoo 18:04, 23 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Usually I upload either that or what's upon TimeLash.com's TARDIS Library. I decide betwixt the two on which image is more worthy of uploading. DrWho42 21:39, 29 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Back Cover Descriptions

[edit]

I bought the books today and I obviously have the back covers. Should I add them to the article? Cophew, 17:56, 2 April 2006 (GMT)

If you're talking about the back cover text, no. That would be a copyright violation - that's why we've rephrased them. --khaosworks (talkcontribs) 17:35, 2 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Gallifreyan numbers

[edit]

Just for the record: the Gallifreyan numbers on the spines of the recently released Tenth Doctor novels are:

  • 7 The Stone Rose
  • 8 The Feast of the Drowned
  • 9 The Resurrection Casket

This would seem to support the notion that as far as BBC Books is concerned, the Ninth and Tenth Doctor novels are part of the same series (the Ninth Doctor novels were numbered 1–6). (The Gallifreyan numbers are also used for chapter headings inside the books, which helps in deciphering them.) —Josiah Rowe (talkcontribs) 18:55, 22 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
