Updates

[edit]

A quick note about the changes made; I added a link back to the Premiership page on the line 1. I thought the end of the first paragraph was ambiguous. I changed it to reflect lack of support of Terry Brown, rather than West Ham (they (we) were still getting 30,000+ at Upton Park in the Championship). I changed a bit of a sentence to past tense, and added the recent AGM result.. N 22:49, 20 October 2005

Whistle

[edit]

I've moved the links to the new article page. It needs more detail, but it's a start. In *this* article, it is said that WHU actually commenced legal action towards members of Whistle. Is there a source for this? One of the Evening Standard links reprints a bit of the original solicitors letter, but sending a letter threatening to sue is not the same as actually 'commencing legal action'. Anyone have any further information on how far this legal action got? Or whether the public apologies (anyone have a link for those too?) were actually to prevent legal action? - N (talk) 21:04, 11 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed merge of Whistle (organisation) into this article

[edit]

I created this originally but I don't think the subject justifies it's own article now, per WP:NOTNEWS and WP:10YT - it's been twelve years, and it looks like it's been collecting tags for most of them. The article deals mainly with Whistle's dealings with Brown, so I think this would be the best target, and probably only a brief mention, rather than the whole article. Any comments below please.
