I have some issues with this as of the 2 February 2024 revision:

  1. The citation supporting the claim of "mixed reviews" does not refer to the "first sequence" but to a sequel, so it is just not valid here.
  2. The Frightfest review cited in early versions of this article calls it a "disappointment"; as best as I could tell, the bulk of the ratings at Metacritic were in the negative.
  3. While it received awards at several horror film festivals, that's pertinent to the following section.

My feeling about this isn't strong, but I think "mostly negative" would be more accurate than "mixed". Fabrickator (talk) 04:20, 2 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
