[edit]Any of these that are added need sources to accompany them. --Muboshgu (talk) 10:58, 21 April 2010 (UTC)
Nashville show
[edit]Why isn't the show in Nashville on June 10th listed? It was even recorded for an album release. See: http://store.thirdmanrecords.com/conanliveatthirdman.aspx --71.205.212.187 (talk) 04:47, 17 August 2010 (UTC)
Fine, I'll add it myself! --71.205.212.187 (talk) 01:32, 25 August 2010 (UTC)
Keeping profits vs. employing former staff
[edit]The article cites this TMZ source in relating that O'Brien did not keep the tour's proceeds in order to employ his former Tonight Show staff. Just to clarify, what does one have to do with the other? Is this an indication that in order to employ those staffmembers, he'd have to abstain from keeping any of the profits? Are they that expensive, or were the proceeds that meager? Nightscream (talk) 20:36, 30 September 2010 (UTC)

Pre-review check
[edit]- No disambiguation links
- No external link issues, although there is one connection issue, but it seems to work perfectly fine on my end.
Infobox and lead
[edit]- Not really necessary, but it would nice if the poster fit the side of the infobox. (220px)
- Done.
- Tour title should not be in capitals.
- All sources referring to this tour capitalize every word.
- "was a comedy tour featuring Conan O'Brien." → "was a 2010 comedy tour featuring American comedian Conan O'Brien". Just a little more descriptive.
- Done
- "The title of the tour is a reference to the 2010 Tonight Show host and timeslot conflict which resulted in O'Brien resigning from his position as host of The Tonight Show in January 2010." → "Its title is a reference to the 2010 Tonight Show host and timeslot conflict, which resulted in O'Brien resigning from his position as host of The Tonight Show in January 2010."
- Done
- Is there anything else you can add to the lead? It seems rather bare. I also see no need to separate the second paragraph from the first.
I can work on that.I've added to the lead, I hope that's sufficient.
Background and announcement
[edit]- I think some more information about what exactly the 2010 Tonight Show conflict was about should be added. I am not familiar with it, so I don't completely understand the situation, as I'm sure other readers could be, as well.
Good idea. I'll work on that in the next day or two.I've added info on this. Let me know if that's enough
Format
[edit]- Nothing to complain about here. Mind moving the image to the other side and making it a bit smaller, though? It squishes the text in a bit, which is sort of annoying.
- Done
Tour dates
[edit]- Source for the tour dates?
- Added to the top of the table
- The city section shouldn't include the state/province it is located in, as the title only says "city".
- Column is now "City, State/Province"
- Unlink the red link venues.
- I think they may meet WP:REDLINK policy as articles that should be created. I'll look into them and maybe start some stubs.
- No need for the dashes when there wasn't a special guest.
- Removed
- Don't see a need to say "1st show" and "2nd show". Messes up the table a bit.
- Agreed
Response
[edit]- November, of what year?
- Done
- Remove the quotation marks around its title.
- Done
That's my first pass in addressing your comments. I hope to finish them off in a day or two. – Muboshgu (talk) 17:13, 1 April 2012 (UTC)
- I think that takes care of that. Let me know if I sufficiently addressed your comments, and if not, what else I can do to address them. Also, let me know if you find anything else that needs work. – Muboshgu (talk) 23:29, 2 April 2012 (UTC)
- Great. I see no more issues. Although, "According to TMZ, O'Brien decided not to keep any of the proceeds from the tour, in order to employ his show's staff members." really has nothing to do with a background or announcement. I say just stick it in the lead. — Statυs (talk) 02:09, 3 April 2012 (UTC)
- I'm content with passing the article. Great work! — Statυs (talk) 02:13, 3 April 2012 (UTC)
