Film release date?

When was the film actually released? IMDB gives 1980 as the release date (as it also says in the infobox here), whereas the production company's website (scroll down to about the middle of Connie Field's bio) says it was released in 1981. So which date should be kept as the correct one? 85.177.254.39 18:09, 23 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Allmovie, The New York Times, and the Library of Congress all list it as released in 1980, so I think we should leave it at that. Kaldari (talk) 20:52, 7 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
