Koestler's FalllBcy (to which this is a redirect)
[edit]I just came here by chance. I haven't edited here for a long while, so just chose something out of my head.
I think it should be pointed out that Koestler's fallacy was not what poor old Art said, in fact the opposit, that he pointed out that coincidences don't happen all the time. For RS I think this is mentioned in Clive James and Alan Bennett mentions it somewhere, but it would take me a while to trawl through my books of either, as in both cases it is just an aside. I think it worth at least footnoting, that Koestler pointed out the phenomenon, but was not a victim of that fallacy-- that other people were.
Were I a regular I would take this under WP:BOLD and the usual edit, revert, discuss, but coming back after a long absence from acctive editing, I take the second first.
