Untitled

[edit]

Absent an entry matching the listing of this novel on Lois McMaster Bujold's author page, I created one. Although it is an early work and does not have the enthusiastic following of her Vorkosigan and Chalion novels, it is one of my personal favorites. List of works

[edit]

There is one more novella in the "World of the Five Gods", namely "The Orphans of Raspay" published in 2019. I have added it. Voralfred (talk) 04:03, 17 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thoughts on removing the "style or tone" template message

[edit]

I'm new here, but it looks to me like we can remove the "style or tone" message. The prose of the article compares well with other novel articles. It's just the right amount of formal, doesn't get too specific or vague, and doesn't read like an advertisement. Is there still work that needs to be done before we can remove the message? The plot summary is somewhat pedestrian (basic book-report style), but I don't see any problems with "tone". Should mention the Malleus Maleficarum connection, and that Vitelli is trying to turn Beneforte's spirit into a demon. AnonMoos (talk) 08:38, 6 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Should also mention that it takes place in an alternate Renaissance Italy in which magic actually works, of course. AnonMoos (talk) 08:52, 6 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
