What? DVD release in 2002?

Adaptation?
[edit]Is it just me, or does it seem like someone actually made Donald Kaufman's script (titled in Adaptation. as The Three) into a movie? I know the movie is based on a novel, but that novel came out a year after Adaptation. Has anyone read the novel who can clarify if Adaptation. may indeed have been an inspiration?
- I have not seen Adaptation, but I have read Thr3e, and from reading a little about Adaptation, the two stories don't seem similar at all.--Jonpro 05:34, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
- No, the story of Adaptation. itself is not similar to that of Thr3e, but one of the characters in Adaptation. writes a screenplay that seems like it could resemble Thr3e. Do the three main characters in Thr3e end up being the same person?134.84.103.24 20:09, 5 January 2007 (UTC)
{{spoilers}}
Yes, they do.--Jonpro 19:15, 21 January 2007 (UTC)- I have also seen Adaptation, and think that this similarity is disturbing. The 'cliche' film script in Adaptation is called "The Thr3e" and sounds almost exactly like Ted Dekker's book and film. 121.98.145.96 (talk) 05:02, 13 October 2008 (UTC)

Merger
[edit]I see no reason to have a section in Thr3e giving details of the movie when there is a separate article here.
Plot Description
[edit]This section is completely inadequate. A synopsis is generally included in an article about fiction. This page (and the one about the novel) read like the back of a dvd box.
- We need to add would it wasn't like the book.--User:NFAN3|NFAN3 02:37, 11 January 2007 (UTC)
- I plan on getting the movie when it's on DVD. If the plot isn't written by then, I'll do it. --Joseph M White 07:38, 12 January 2007 (UTC)
Synopsis ripped from IMDB?
[edit]I don't know whether this is against policy, but I just noticed that the plot synopsis here is almost word-for-word the Plot Summary from the IMDB page. SidShakal 04:20, 4 September 2007 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Thr3eflim movie poster.JPG
[edit]Image:Thr3eflim movie poster.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Critical reception
[edit]Under Critical Reception, it reads, "The movie was slammed by mainstream movie critics in the days leading up to and after its January release," but the only source to corroborate this is a Rotten Tomatoes rating. Are there any other source (i.e. reviews from actual critics) that can be used here? Besides, I'm sure that not everyone thought it was aweful. Kristamaranatha (talk) 00:38, 16 August 2008 (UTC)
