Dubious Info

[edit]

Obviously Tide still exists, even if it's not currently on any maps. Tide Wayside and Tide County Park remain, and the valley forces its houses to remain geographically isolated from nearby Swisshome. However, there is little to no information online besides this webpage and its citation, so it would be basically impossible to find a source to reference the information about the local government. I have to assume this information was written by a local resident, and so is most likely outdated by now, 12 years after it's writing. I don't want to remove it yet though. I'm traveling to the area soon and hope to interview people in Tide. Shinbickler (talk) 12:20, 6 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, original research isn't allowed. Well I guess that portion should be removed then. Shinbickler (talk) 12:23, 6 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I live in Tide and the information is 100% factual 2601:1C0:847E:85C0:BD37:B562:2B4E:EB7A (talk) 00:59, 27 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Even the info about the mayor and sheriff? How does an unincorporated community have these? Shinbickler (talk) 06:54, 27 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, even about the mayor and sheriff. We just do things our own way here. 2601:1C0:847E:85C0:BD37:B562:2B4E:EB7A (talk) 04:51, 28 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I am Mayor McCumber. Sheriff Banks and I do not appreciate the repeated erasure. 76.144.12.8 (talk) 05:27, 24 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
