Uncertainty over the owner of the newspaper

[edit]

Hi @Egeymi, the body of the article refers to the paper being state-owned, citing two references. I have also found several book references that have not been cited that refer to the paper as being state-owned. The references claim that the paper is printed by Wahda Foundation fo Press, Printing and Publishing which operates under the Syrian Ministry of Information. I would appreciate your feedback if you have references that undermine these claims. Thanks! Geopony (talk) 11:10, 26 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Geopony I started the page, so I'm familiar with the case. And there is no doubt about the fact that it's owned by the Syrian state. However, I haven't found any "reliable" source giving its specific owner. That's why I reverted your edit. If I'II find any sourced information about the owner, sure I'll add giving the specific name. --Egeymi (talk) 11:16, 26 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Ok! Sorry for the confusion, I did not realize that by specific owner you mean the specific entity within the state that owns the paper, not simply "Government of Syria" Geopony (talk) 08:16, 28 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
