Can someone explain why a 'rumour' that Simon Fanshawe wrote material for Tom O'Connor which is untrue is worthy of inclusion? It wouldn't be worthy of inclusion even it were true. 81.144.212.67 10:00, 5 October 2007 (UTC)
The article states:
[edit]"On 24 February 2006 he was given an award for having guest appeared on the TV programme Countdown 100 times." Can there really be an award for such a thing? It seems pretty specific. I would guess that only the hosts and Brandreth would ever have won it apart from him. DavidFarmbrough (talk) 06:12, 10 May 2009 (UTC)
Has this article been "got at" ?
[edit]Having just watched the "41st Best Stand Up Comedian" by Stewart Lee, I came to this article, and am suspicious about:
1) The absence of certain facts Stewart Lee references 2) The peculiar phrasing about the "world famous sardine" joke

- "Has someone been censoring Wiki?" - no. The "facts" you refer to are rumours. Even if rumours were acceptable on Wikipedia, potentially libellous ones certainly wouldn't be. Being a Stewart Lee fan doesn't automatically make you smart. C.harrison1988 (talk) 12:20, 18 March 2015 (UTC)
