Concepts
[edit]The persistent homology group is defined as a persistent module, however, no effort is made in connecting the definition of the former to that of the latter. 3D from 2D
[edit]"we infer a 3D environment from a 2D image from each eye" -- this is a misconception. Actually, it's a series of 2D images from different perspectives due to miniscule eye movements. This fact was known to Poincare, but unknown to early computer vision researchers, causing them huge problems.
