Poem/Song

[edit]

The song name "Tori no Uta" Uta means song while 詩 means poem. But consider it is pronounced Uta as song, should the lit. change from Bird's Poem to Bird's Song? --HKO2006 (talk) 03:31, 11 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

It would be 'song' if the kanji was 歌, but since it is 詩, it should stay 'poem'.-- 11:06, 11 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Musical structure: Major keys??

[edit]

iirc, at least in the TV size ver, this song has not a single part in a major key at all. The key changes should be:

B minor (26 bars) - G# minor (16 bars) - A# minor (12 bars, followed by a brief C# minor period which spans 4 bars) - B minor (till the end of the TV size ver.)

About the A# minor key: It's enharmonically Bb minor, though imo a 7-sharp signature is as acceptable as a 5-flat signature in this particular case. I've not seen the official score sheet, both signatures are used in different fan scores. Also the indications of the key being A# minor instead of C# major are a bit vague, but A# minor is closer as I see. W7n (talk) 14:19, 19 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
