I made a comment about this at Wikipedia talk:Did you know#Template:Did you know nominations/Training Season, but per WP:DYKSO (The hook should not put emphasis on a commercial release date of the article subject, but simply listing a hook on a specific date does not, in and of itself, make a hook promotional) I don't think this hook is appropriate. No issue with the special date request in and of itself, but even if the hook wasn't overly clickbaity, the current hook is too promotional and puts unnecessary emphasis on a commercial release date. - Aoidh (talk) 05:02, 8 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for sticking by this nomination, ZooBlazer. I'm not a fan of ALT1 due to the lack of interestingness. I guess a more decent hook can be created by applying WP:CALC to the gap between the Grammys premiere and official release date. If this doesn't work, I honestly have no idea.

Any source regarding "interpolation"?

Is there not at least one source explaining that Martina Sorbara, Nick Gale, Shaun Frank, Steve Mastroianni, and Yaakov Gruzman are credited as writers because the song supposedly interpolates their song "Tokyo Nights"? Jvaspad (talk) 23:16, 11 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  • "She premiered it at the 66th Annual Grammy Awards on 4 February 2024" → can we add another source that confirms the date of the ceremony? Ref 117 (Uproxx) is a good option
  • "Lisa Wright of DIY believed they constituted ..." → "Lisa Wright of DIY believed the singles constituted ..."
  • "Aimee Phillips of Clash thought "the beats [were] darker, more textured and sexier, [and] the lyrics have more purpose, bringing us back to the strong and confident pop star image Dua Lipa has long portrayed" → is there a way to paraphrase this?
  • "It entered the US Billboard Hot 100 .... "Training Season" debuted at number 11 on the Canadian Hot 100 .... In Australia, the song entered at number 12 ..." → "Training Season" entered the US Billboard Hot 100 .... It debuted at number 11 on the Canadian Hot 100 .... In Australia, "Training Season" entered at number 12 ..."; since the Canadian chart sentence follows the US chart sentence, I thought mentioning the song's name at the first incidence is a better option
  • "a platinum certification in Poland" → "and a platinum certification in Poland"
  • "In it, ..." → "In the video, ..."
  • Pyrotechnics can be linked
  • "One line from "Dance the Night" was included, before she transitioned into singing "Houdini" in the middle of the stage and performed the dance sequence from its music video" → is there a reason that this information should be mentioned here in this article?
