Long sections on cancer

[edit]

I notice that lengthy sections on the cancer aspects of genetics topics are being added to various articles. These are well-researched and clearly notable, so they would make good articles in their own right. I'd suggest that they are moved out whole to form new articles - the section here being a case in point - leaving a short summary section headed by a {{main article|Transcriptional regulation in cancer}} link (or something similar). Well, this particular example seems to me so clear a duplication that I've boldly gone ahead and created the article Regulation of transcription in cancer - and will attempt to create a brief summary. Other examples of near-duplication (this sounds very much like a set of errors in wikicode transcription, ahem) remain in other articles and need some kind of attention.
