Tree Onion vs. Tree onion

[edit]

Hi, Just wanted to point out that there are two different wikipedia articles on Tree Onion and Tree onion. I have no knowledge of the topic, but it seems problematic that the two titles differ only in capitalization! Cpastern (talk) 14:37, 5 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Top Setting Onions On Marginal Land

[edit]

Top setting onions are sometimes preferred in dry climates as being less demanding of water than other onions. In such locations a bulb near the roots might not be produced in a long hot growing season, even when irrigation is provided. The young green leaves may be the intended crop, and the top sets can be more reliable for propagation than seed producing onions that might not flower in the climate. Top setting onions can be found thriving in locations where other onions don't survive. Astrojed (talk) 00:19, 13 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
