[edit]I'm going to start making updates to this page. Here is what I've got so far. Thanks.
Tribune Media Services (TMS), headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, is a subsidiary of Tribune Company (Chicago Tribune, Los Angeles Times, The Baltimore Sun, Sun Sentinel (South Florida), Orlando Sentinel, Hartford Courant, The Morning Call and Daily Press). TMS is a content provider for over 4,000 companies.
History I think the history section can be further improved.Nuroruc (talk) 03:13, 3 June 2013 (UTC) TMS was founded in 1933 to provide news syndication that has expanded and now provides entertainment information and news globally to technology and media companies.

Tribune vs. TV Guide EPG
[edit]There is a sentence here that says Tribune provide EPG data to TV Guide, but I actually think that was never true. First, if you looked at Zap2it (uses Tribune) vs. tvguide.com, they were often different enough that you could tell they had two different sources. Second, Rovi owned TV Guide and just ended their EPG service to all devices. Tribune devices are not experiencing this, so I think TV Guide/Rovi was a competitor of Tribune and not a customer. --Sbwinter2 (talk) 19:41, 20 January 2013 (UTC)
This is correct, TV Guide is not a customer of TMS. I removed the line in question. 208.105.144.10 (talk) 16:43, 24 April 2013 (UTC)
I also think the history section can be improved. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Baires78 (talk • contribs) 02:16, 11 June 2013 (UTC)
Edit & improve tone
[edit]Not the greatest article in WP but I've taken out the advertorial. I know nothing about TMS so haven't checked facts Chrismorey (talk) 06:57, 23 August 2013 (UTC)
TMS has merged with Gracenote
[edit]No longer known as TMS. [1] -- Erroneuz1 (talk) 17:38, 4 July 2014 (UTC)
