[edit]A home version of this TV game show was released (1993). The cover has a picture of Wink Martindale. I am looking for a copy of the instructions if anyone has a copy. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.37.129.94 (talk • contribs) 02:13, 9 September 2007 (UTC)
2024 "revival"
[edit]So, I'm starting this discussion to ask if we should consider the new CW version a "revival" or not. Personally, I don't think so, as both this and Scrabble are billed as "new shows"; plus, they don't follow much of their original game show formats and are going strictly to how the board games worked. One blurb I noticed especially is "contestants battle it out over a range of play-along question categories to win wedges and beat each other to the center." After doing some research, the only prior instance for contestants making it to the center in a Trivial Pursuit game show was for a couple of failed pilots in the 80s; while the remaining iterations did not have an overblown version of the game. Like I said on the Scrabble talk page, if it's the same exact format (or if it contains a majority of elements), I would consider it as a revival. And I would personally wait until more news comes out about the show, but I have no final say in this. BrickMaster02 (talk) 18:19, 16 May 2024 (UTC)
- Similar to Scrabble, we could make a brand new page for Trivial Pursuit, titled Trivial Pursuit (2024 game show) and this one can either remain the same or be changed to Trivial Pursuit (1993 game show) to differentiate the two. This could work, but we could also wait until later to make a final decision. TheJay123 (talk) 18:27, 16 May 2024 (UTC)
