Really?
[edit]I am an inclusionist so I am usually opposed to deletion of articles based on Notability. That being said, how is a 5 mile long creek suitable for featured article status? I'm not looking to argue, I just think this is a blaring example of how Wikipedia rules on such things are not applied equally. Eric Cable | Talk 12:52, 4 April 2012 (UTC)
- A well-written, well-referenced article is its own best defense. It's hard to argue something isn't notable when other sources have in fact noted the subject in question. I am glad to see such articles occasionally, it helps display the breadth of Wikipedia. Xymmax So let it be written So let it be done 13:41, 4 April 2012 (UTC)
- I don't disagree with you, but I've seen plenty of well-written, well-referenced articles get deleted for not being notable. My beef is not with this article, but with the notability policy. Eric Cable | Talk 15:04, 4 April 2012 (UTC)
- Since this discussion isn't about improving this particular article, perhaps it should be moved to Wikipedia talk:Notability. Valfontis (talk) 15:58, 4 April 2012 (UTC)
