Merge

[edit]

I think we should merge this with the season article, as it provides little further information. Comments please. - SpLoT // 12:07, 13 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Merge. No need for an article like this unless it is speedy-informated (quickly add more info).Mitch32contribs 15:32, 13 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Comments. i am in two minds about the possible merge, as the only reason i started the article was to write out the prose for fitow, but having looked on the Seaonal discussion page the last few days there was a user asking me to publish it, and despite my intial reluctance i thought id publish it as it was after all it was a Typhoon which was not a Fish spinner & then i also thought that since Japan Wiki had an article & that the english one had better have allthough i could not read it as my main internet Browser does not like Japanese i also then thought why does Japans wiki have an article on Fitow and it was obvious, They have one as Fitow hit Japan. And then after all that i feel that i will try and extend this article out a bit more but i will be happy to merge this article with the Seasonal article or keep it as is. Thank You Jason Rees 17:01, 13 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Then please do so quickly. I have already incorporated all information which the season page did not have (which wasn't a lot). The fact that there is a Japanese article and a Chinese article says nothing, and the fact that this was not a fish-spinner says nothing as well. We cannot possibly create stubs similar to what is covered on the season page for all tropical cyclones which affected land. At present I see no new coverage - the only section is storm history, which the season page covers, and a little bit of impact, which I have already expanded and added to the season page. That being said, if you do expand it in the next few days or so, I will gladly copyedit and expand further. - SpLoT // 04:35, 14 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
ok I will be expanding it a bit more over the next few days - but please be patient as i have a lot to do over the next few days Jason Rees
Sure and thanks. - SpLoT // 16:26, 14 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I want to expand both Japanese article and English article. (I can't speak and write Chinese.) But I'm sorry I don't have enough time to do.--HERB 14:56, 16 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Hey Herb Just help out when you have some time as i do not have that much time normally but this coming week i will have quite a bit of time to do things on Wikipedia and other places - Also i can not read Chinese or Japanese unless its translated :P Jason Rees 21:19, 19 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
