GA review – see WP:WIAGA for criteria

  1. Is it reasonably well written?
    A. Prose quality:
Too many "Guams" in close conjunction in lede, reword. Link knots on first occurrence (the lede). Hyphenate class name in lede. Fix this: at the New York Shipbuilding in Camden,. Missing a word: departed for a raid the mainland Japanese islands
    Should all be addressed.
    B. MoS compliance for lead, layout, words to watch, fiction, and lists:
  2. Is it factually accurate and verifiable?
    A. References to sources:
    B. Citation of reliable sources where necessary:
    C. No original research:
  3. Is it broad in its coverage?
    A. Major aspects:
Add name, builder, ordered date, identification (hull number), class to infobox. Link scrapped, 40 mm Bofors, 20 mm Oerlikon and Bayonne, NJ.
    All added.
    B. Focused:
What kind of radars/ECM did she have? How did she launch her aircraft and what kind did she have? Were any plans made to convert her to a missile ship postwar? What kind of turbines, direct-drive or geared? What do L/50 and L/38 mean?
Added gun directors, I can't find anything on search radars/ECM. Aircraft info, turbines, note on L/50 added. As far as I can tell, there were no plans to convert the ship post-war.
  4. Is it neutral?
    Fair representation without bias:
  5. Is it stable?
    No edit wars, etc:
  6. Does it contain images to illustrate the topic?
    A. Images are copyright tagged, and non-free images have fair use rationales:
    B. Images are provided where possible and appropriate, with suitable captions:
  7. Overall:
    Pass or Fail:
