GA Reassessment

[edit]

Article (edit | visual edit | history) · Article talk (edit | history) · Watch

This article has multiple issues:

  1. First, the article fails criterion 3b. The article overall is too long (102 kB readable prose size, way above most country articles), because some of its sections are not written in summary style and contain too much details. The the following sections especially are too long: Architecture, Music, and History. Some of the subsections of the History section (Inter-war Polish Ukraine, Independence, and everything in between) are a problem because they make the article focus on recent events (see WP:RECENTISM). Also, why is there a Corporations section?
  2. The article also has multiple unaddressed "citation needed" and "not in citation given" tags, thus failing criterion 2b, which requires citations for statistics and challenged material.
  3. The article also fails criterion 1b, because it contains many short, 1-sentence paragraphs, which Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Layout#Paragraphs says "should be minimized".

I will wait a week before closing this reassessment so editors can have the opportunity to fix these issues.--FutureTrillionaire (talk) 02:35, 22 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Result: Delisted. It's been a week. The issues have not been fixed.--FutureTrillionaire (talk) 00:24, 30 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
