Merge, delete or re-write?

What should be done with this article? It was originally meant to be a sub-article Christian metal, to cut the length below 40,000 kbits. That did not help to get a FA status, as the review failed. Most of this article is original research and name-dropping, all the information can be found in the individual bands articles, and most of this page was merged back to the Christian metal article under the section Christian bands in metal subgenres. It doesn't make sense to have a separate article with same content. This page does not bring more value to the subject, or does it? Many of the sources are unreliable. Is this even useful, as the List of Christian metal bands serves better those who are looking for new bands? I once tagged this page for deletion, but the tag was removed until there's consensus on the matter.--Azure Shrieker (talk) 18:36, 21 December 2010 (UTC)

I think the article should remain for now, though if enough coverage of each individual style, i. e. Christian death metal, thrash, doom, etc., I think the article could be deleted.--3family6 (talk) 01:36, 12 January 2011 (UTC)
