False information? Vampires vs. Lycans Elder ruling time
[edit]Article says, that "Rules and tradition demand that two be at rest while one is awake; this arrangement calls for each elder to rule for one century followed by two centuries of sleep." This could not be true, seeing, as Viktor awakes in the first Underworld film, Kraven tells him, that Victor awakened two centuries earlier, because that was the time to awake Markus (and time for Amelia to go to sleep). However, this makes sense if each Vampire Elder rules two centuries in a row. Viktor went asleep two centuries ago. 23:26, 20 October 2009 (UTC)
- I know this is an old comment but I wanted to clarify - Viktor was not awakened two centuries early - Kraven's line is that Viktor was awakened "a full century early." Hence it was the end of Amelia's century, about to be the beginning of Markus'. The one century on/two centuries off statement is correct. 173.23.119.4 (talk) 20:13, 2 November 2015 (UTC)
Split
[edit]The characters section should be split, due to it is getting too long and should split into a new article.--NeoBatfreak (talk) 20:53, 16 December 2012 (UTC)
- I can't agree. While the section is certainly long enough, I'm left feeling that it's significantly lacking in third-party sources that establish any notability for most of the characters. In its current state it seems more appropriate for a wikia than an encyclopedia article. Doniago (talk) 13:48, 27 December 2012 (UTC)
- The article is not really long enough to require splitting at this time. Op47 (talk) 18:16, 2 March 2013 (UTC)
Contradicting dates
[edit]There is probalby something wrong with the dates. I quote from the article:
- "Alexander Corvinus [...] is the first true Immortal in the Underworld movies and is the father of Markus Corvinus and William Corvinus, as well as an ancestor of Michael Corvin, who is a descendant of Corvinus's third and mortal son. [...] Alexander was a Hungarian warlord who lived in the early 5th century.
- "William Corvinus is the first and only Lycan Elder in the Underworld series. [...] Born sometime in the 5th century, William was one of three sons of Helena and Alexander Corvinus, the first immortal, and the twin brother of Marcus Corvinus."
- "Markus Corvinus is the first vampire in the Underworld series. [...] Born sometime in the 12th century; Markus was one of three sons of Helena and Alexander Corvinus, the first immortal, he was the twin brother of William Corvinus.
So Markus' twin brother was born 7 centuries before him?
- "Viktor is a Vampire Elder. [...]. Viktor was a Hungarian general and warlord born sometime in the 4th or early 5th century. As he was nearing the end of his life, Marcus Corvinus, the first true Vampire, offered immortality..."
So Viktor is even older than the very first immortal Alexander Corvinus? Could someone clear this mess up.--BECK's 18:36, 8 January 2013 (UTC)
New Movie
[edit]Is there going to be a fifth movie since it looks like Awekening left off at a cliffhanger. Giggett (talk) 07:56, 29 January 2013 (UTC)
- I think it's pretty clear that the next instalment, the fifth film, is a "reboot". There is no support for having two separate sections, one about a fifth film and one about a reboot; they are the same film. Here is one source supporting the fact: http://moviepilot.com/posts/2014/09/04/underworld-5-could-kate-mara-play-selene-eve-or-who-2232754?lt_source=external,manual,manual#!bQ7vUc 12.233.147.42 (talk) 19:34, 7 September 2014 (UTC)
- nope. Blood Wars was a sequel. ScratchMarshall (talk) 02:16, 29 August 2017 (UTC)

Added a source saying Kate finished working on it. Anyone know title? Section needs expanding and prep for export. ScratchMarshall (talk) 02:18, 29 August 2017 (UTC)
Anyone more familiar with the series than I care to add it to this list?
[edit]Types of mythological or fantastic beings in contemporary fiction is a page of, well, fantasy works (movie, TV, written, whatever) and the assorted mythological and/or fantastic critters they contain. This series would qualify. Anyone care to add it? Tamtrible (talk) 17:59, 9 September 2017 (UTC)
