Mall rename
[edit]The mall rename has been completed as of December 2015, as the mall facades and external signs have been updated. There aren't any good references commemorating the actual rename (a couple of references show that the rename was planned), so the best reference will likely be someone going out there and taking an external photo (just not me).
I don't know what the best convention for speaking about the mall in the past, so I largely rewrote historical discussion to say "the mall" instead of "University Mall" or "University Place" (for example, it would be improper to speak of Belk's closing its University Place store in 2010 since the name was not in existence then). The article probably needs a general update, but that would likely involve canvassing the mall to figure out which planned changes have actually been made. –Pakman044 (talk) 04:49, 26 December 2015 (UTC)
