Trademark issues
[edit]I revised the trademark section to reflect The Open Group's current recommendations.
- I've reworked the article a bit, trying to establish consistent standards for the use of the U-word here, as a compromise between The Open Group's trademark rights and the public's free speech rights:
- The original program developed by Bell Labs: Unix.
- OSes that resemble it: "Unix-like" (the "scare quotes" to reflect that it's not a formally correct term).
- OSes complying with the Single UNIX Specification: UNIX.

GNU/kFreeBSD
[edit]I'm adding GNU/kFreeBSD again. Anyone have your discussion and/or ping-pong game about GNU/Linux naming controversy if you like, but please don't remove GNU/kFreeBSD because of that. Thanks. 62.57.140.216
