VLAN encapsulation

" It uses a VLAN-like encapsulation technique to encapsulate MAC-based OSI layer 2 Ethernet frames within layer 4 UDP packets" The expression "VLAN-like encapsulation technique" can cause confusion, since a VLAN-tag is just a header field in the existing ethernet frame, whereas VXLAN encapsulates the whole frame in a new UDP packet.
