Notability
[edit]Neutralhomer, as I said on your talk page: Please read WP:Notability#General notability guideline and WP:Consensus. WVIR-DT3 and other subchannel articles don't have "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject" and therefore don't meet the general notability guideline. Again, WP:Notability (media)#Broadcast media (WP:BROADCAST) says "subchannels, generally do not merit separate articles and should be covered in the station's main article." So it also does not meet WP:BROADCAST. As for consensus, show me where there's a WP:Consensus about this. All I see in the discussions about subchannel articles at WT:WikiProject Television Stations is disagreement with no WP:Consensus. As well, WP:Consensus#Level of consensus says "participants in a WikiProject cannot decide that some generally accepted policy or guideline does not apply to articles within its scope." Therefore, even if there's a consensus at WT:WikiProject Television Stations, the articles still have to meet WP:Notability which some subchannel articles including WVIR-DT3 do not.
