Name
[edit]There is no mention in the article of who came up with the Brand name of "Duchy Originals". Who was it that pitched the brand name to HRH. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.196.255.162 (talk) 12:40, 13 August 2009 (UTC)

Controversy
[edit]While the recent claims by Ernst are clearly relevent and notable, they only relate to a single product of Dutchy, the detox herbal remedy, not the entire product line. As far as I know there is no significant controversy about the food or other products. As such it doesnt seem appropriate that more space in the summary is taken up by that one fact than by a description of the company itself. The copy also gave the impression that the whole Dutchy range had been called into question. I created a new 'controversy' section, moved the copy there and clarrified what it was Ernst was critisising--ThePaintedOne (talk) 07:24, 5 April 2009 (UTC)
- Per previous post, there is no need to put one claim by one scientist about one product into the lead. The majority of Duchy products are completely seperate from this and it was a brief media item. This fact already has a section to itself with a cite and that is more than sufficient.--ThePaintedOne (talk) 11:02, 13 November 2009 (UTC)
New Brand Name 2015
[edit]With the introduction of a new brand name Waitrose Duchy Organic I have renamed the page and updated the contents. I have also replaced the company info box with a brand info box to reflect the fact that the article has not been about the Duchy Originals company itself for some time. a company set up by King Charles III?
[edit]Maybe this is British convention, but as a foreigner the wording in the current version sounds anachronistic and confusing to me. The company was set up in 1990 by Prince Charles, not by king C3.
why not write "...a company set up by Prince Charles (now King Charles III) in 1990..." 217.72.221.233 (talk) 07:13, 15 September 2022 (UTC)
