The tone of this article is unsatisfactory. A good example is to be found in the last two sentences (my objections in bold):
"His Frenchized (??) name Saint Wandrille became a synonym for his Fontenelle Abbey (like all of this article, this fact needs to be referenced, and even better, explained.). This abbey has been destroyed several times, both by fire and civil wars, but the ruins still can be seen and there is still a petit (this leads me to believe the article is poorly translated from French) village Saint-Wandrille-Rançon."
