More Information

[edit]

Please post more information about other areas of camp besides the Science Center. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Q33q3 (talkcontribs) 04:04, 9 April 2007 (UTC).[reply]

While some more information about this page is a good thing, this is meant to be an encyclopedia article, not a replacement for the camp's website. Additionally, that many top-level headings are unnecessary. I'll edit and condense it down somewhat. --Deusnoctum 02:55, 15 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Finished editing and cleaning up. It's been a couple years since I've worked here, so I'd appreciate it if someone who worked here this year could fact-check it. Again, please note that we do NOT need a list of every campsite and merit badge, but that those which are particularly notable (OSR offers golf merit badge!?) should be given. I don't know that I have the expertise to do this, but I think another heading on camping and the camping experience (tents, adirondacks, summer vs off-season camping, etc.) immediately after the Overview heading would be great. Finally, if there's anyone who knows a lot about the inner workings of the council, Bucks County Council still needs its own page. --Deusnoctum 04:53, 15 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Bill Mischke has been Kirby camp director since 2006 or 2007; Alice Breon was the first Kirby camp director in ~2001 and, I've heard, resigned recently. If anyone knows differently, please say so here--Deusnoctum 19:30, 29 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
