Orgin of the phrase?

[edit]

Was reading "the road to serfdom" and to quote one of the footnotes:

3. The nineteenth century Liberal statesmen Sir William Vernon Harcourt (1827-1904) originated the phrase, "We are all socialists now." -Ed.

Can this be confirmed and added to the article?

Also in the UK, Peter Mandelson has been quoted saying "we are all Thatcherites now" [1]

Think I came across a 1950s usage of the phrase "We are all Keynesians now" by Kenneth Boulding, iirc. Will add if I find it again.John Z (talk) 02:00, 18 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
