White, Red and Blue Balls

I am told on fairly good authority that the reason White Ball and Red Ball got their names is not because of what the hills were made of. Instead, they, and the neighbouring Blue Ball, were named because of balloons hoisted up the airshafts in the White Ball tunnel. Lenzar (talk) 12:55, 16 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
