Why is Levi's Party affiliation left off his title as state central committeeman for the First Congressional District of Illinois from 1930 to 1932? But then describes him as a Democratic Party committeeman after 1939?

It's from the Congressional Bioguide information, which gives the party only for the latter position, not the former.[1] Postdlf 15:32, 29 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]
He was a Republican. He did not switch to the Democrats until the late 1930s.

Why isn't there any mention of his association with the Chicago Outfit. There are tape recordings where it is revealed that Gus Alex is a controller for Congressman William L. Dawson. This is one way the Chicago mob kept drugs in the black community. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 73.202.12.147 (talk) 21:12, 10 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
