The very many recent edits by ThatMontrealIPKwaizzzMarnetteDAlanM1David notMDDESiegel (some of which almost certainly have been done by the subject or a close associate) have left the entry inferring both that the subject's garden is still in existence and that the subject is still a significant figure in the international gardening community and actively maintaining the garden. Regretfully this is not supported by any recent citations Gumsaint (talk) 04:56, 5 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Gumsaint: the editor Kwaizz posted a question at the Teahouse, which is I imagine why so many of us came over to help. Notability is not temporary, so if he was once notable he is still notable. Kwaizz has actually posted the proper COI template on his their page, but should not be editing the page directly. If you think the subject notable then WP:AFD it. I'm not sure myself if he is notable; I just came over to fix some minor things. ThatMontrealIP (talk) 03:24, 6 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Some of the edits have changed the tense to such a degree that it has become something of a mess. The subject had some short-lived notability but then disappeared. Just the same WP:AFD can be very tiresome as invariably some editor will prefer to leave a bad page up on the premise that 'some one will fix it' one day ThatMontrealIP.
