Merger proposal
[edit]I think William Taylor (song) should be merged into this page, William Taylor (folk song). They both seem to deal with the same song, the only distinction is that one page refers to the song as a folk song and the other as a ballad. 137.222.114.245 (talk) 18:04, 12 November 2018 (UTC)
Musical Example
[edit]It appears that the lyrics in the musical example have gone awry. The eighth notes (currently "brisk young") should be tied, or replaced by a single quarter note, with "young" and all following syllables moved right one note.
The two eighth notes are probably needed for later verses. 219.90.178.12 (talk) 08:01, 29 December 2023 (UTC)
