[edit]There is a great deal more to be said about this fascinating man, who wrote extensively to the press while in Bombay, and had his animadversions on the handling of imports published in one or more volumes. Unfortunately my notes on this matter are lost, along with much else, due to the obduracy and obstructionism of certain parties, before they could be committed to these pages.
