With the Century → ? – Reminiscences should be added; should the title be Reminiscences: With the Century or With the Century: Reminiscences? Some sources use the full name either way. --Relisted. Dekimasuよ! 20:11, 20 December 2014 (UTC) George Ho (talk) 07:00, 5 December 2014 (UTC)
- Support Reminiscences: With the Century Gregkaye ✍♪ 05:24, 6 December 2014 (UTC)
- Oppose per WP:COMMONNAME: "Wikipedia does not necessarily use the subject's 'official' name as an article title; it prefers to use the name that is most frequently used to refer to the subject in English-language reliable sources." Some sources use the full title, as George Ho points out, but they're in the minority. The shorthand With the Century is the most frequent name used of the work in sources (at least in sources here) when it's discussed. Library catalogs etc. of course tend to give the full name. The full name is included in the lead per this guideline and as a redirect at Reminiscences: With the Century. Finnusertop (talk | guestbook | contribs) 16:18, 10 December 2014 (UTC)
- I beg to differ. This is a marginally notable work by a more notable, prominent author and supreme North Korean ruler. Workers World uses the proposed name. Daily NK and Fox News use the current title. However, the novel itself is not prevalent and widely covered by the media, but Fox News has a reputation as misleading and manipulative. Checking Google Books, better than news, With the Century is widely used as citation, but amount of significant coverage is minimal at best. You decide. --George Ho (talk) 17:40, 11 December 2014 (UTC)
- Wait... using Google Books again, I searched Reminiscenses (only) and found one source using Kim il-Sung Reminiscences (no, I'm not kidding). Using Bing again, Reason uses With the Century: Reminiscences. --George Ho (talk) 17:46, 11 December 2014 (UTC)
- Comment To my knowledge, a vast majority of the academic works and other books using With The Century as a source tend to use the short form of the name. For instance, books like this: Under the Loving Care of the Fatherly Leader: North Korea and the Kim Dynasty Usually only the library catalogs and various left-wing sources tend to use the With the Century: Reminiscences as a name. Mostly due to an academic interest in this book, English-language sources tend to call it With the Century most of the time. Ceosad (talk) 21:46, 15 December 2014 (UTC)
