New article

[edit]

The section on "Women's rights history" is mainly translated from the article "Feminismo en el Paraguay" in the Spanish version of Wikipedia.

Hello, I have added a maintenance template to the article "Feminismo en el Paraguay" (in the Spanish version of Wikipedia) on which the "Women's rights history" section of the article Women in Paraguay is based. I found some problems: it needs expansion of content, because the beginning of feminism in Paraguay predates 1920 and María Felicidad González, and Paraguayan feminism is not necessarily related to the Febrerista Revolutionary Party. Some references on this are:

- Bareiro, L. (1997). Construcción femenina de ciudadanía. En Bareiro, L. y Soto, C. (Ed.) Ciudadanas. Una memoria inconstante. Caracas, Venezuela: Nueva sociedad.

- Bareiro, L., Soto, C. y Monte, M. (1993). Alquimistas. Documentos para otra historia de las mujeres. Asunción, Paraguay: Centro de Documentación y Estudios.

- Dávalos, S. (2007). Humanismo. Reedición a los cien años de la tesis de Serafina Dávalos (2da ed.). Asunción, Paraguay: Centro de Documentación y Estudios.

The focus of the article is basically referred to the Febrerista Revolutionary Party, and therefore do not meet the necessary neutrality, referred to the policy of neutral point of view of Wikipedia. Related to this, some contributions made do not have sources or references necessary to comply with the verifiability policy of Wikipedia.

I am collaborating on articles on feminism in Paraguay, and I would like to support the expansion and improvement of this article. I'm grateful for taking the trouble to make Paraguayan feminism visible.

I would appreciate it if you have any questions do not hesitate to leave a comment on my talk page. Thank you. Best regards,
