- If you can point out an error in the article, and supply an independent reliable published source to support the change that you want, that is likely to be done. But you have asked us to replace the entire article by an advertisement written by yourselves, with no independent source. No way is that going to happen. This is an encyclopedia written by impartial editors and based on reliable sources, it's not a free web hosting service. Maproom (talk) 12:38, 9 March 2021 (UTC)

- IP, you seem to have overlooked the policy that sources for Wikipedia articles be independent of the subject. Please see WP:RS for what constitute reliable sources for Wikipedia content. If you think certain terms that appear are are "derogatory" (perhaps on the order of "cheaper" versus "less expensive"?), you can propose specific changes to that wording. But the article will not be replaced with the content prepared by your marketing department. General Ization Talk 14:33, 9 March 2021 (UTC)

WIKIPEDIA PAGE EDITS
World Balance (WB or W) is a Filipino sports footwear and apparel brand that was established in 1980.[3]
1) The brand was first established as a cheaper (change to “affordable” to remove the negative connotation.) shoe brand alternative to well-known foreign footwear brands. (remove the part “alternative to well-known foreign footwear brands” as this is subjective and has no citations or credible sources).
2) Kindly add: For more than 40 years, World Balance continues to provide value and comfort to their customers from different walks of life. It features a wide array of products – from clothing to accessories and of course – shoes, turning the brand into one of the leading retailers in the country. (source: https://www.alike.com.ph/journals/view/stepintoluxury-with-world-balances-premium-leather-sneakers-the-luxor-463)
3) Kindly add: World Balance is well-known for its high quality, comfortable, and stylish footwear – making it a top favorite among Filipinos. (source: https://dubaiofw.com/world-balance-dxb/)
4) World Balance is one of the Philippine's major sports footwear and apparel manufacturers[4] and maintains a manufacturing presence in the Philippines, as well as in Vietnam and China (we are contesting this as we do not have presence in Vietnam. No credible source listed either).
5) As a result, World Balance shoes tend to be more expensive than those of other local manufacturers but are mostly cheaper than international ones. (this comparative description is harmful. “cheaper” should be “more affordable” and World Balance is not more expensive than other local manufacturers.) source: https://pop.inquirer.net/102802/affordable-limited-edition-more-good-less-evil-sneaker-by-secret-fresh-x-world-balance
History
6) Kindly Add: The World Balance story began with one pair of shoes and a visionary family of shoemakers in the 1980s. World Balance operates over 200 stores and concessions nationwide. It continues to expand its footprint both locally and globally, with products reaching Singapore and Dubai. (source: https://www.philstar.com/lifestyle/business-life/2019/12/13/1975651/list-4-things-you-need-know-about-proudly-filipino-company-world-balance)
7) In 1980, Arsenio Chong, Armani Chong, and Sin Chong founded World Balance International Incorporated in their current location in Caloocan City, manufacturing cheap but reliable knock-off shoes of well-known international brands. (term “cheap and knockoff” is derogatory and should be removed, and no credible source cited)
8) Yet this same identity made the brand infamous among young people, particularly students, as being "baduy" or out of trend. (term “Infamous”, “baduy”, and “out of trend” are damaging to the brand and entire phrase should be removed. This is subjective with no sources cited either.)
9) In 2020, the company announced that it was converting some of its manufacturing facilities to produce face masks (kindly add: and protective jackets and accessories called NXT Gear Collection) in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.[7][8] (source: https://www.philstar.com/lifestyle/fashion-and-beauty/2020/09/25/2045058/world-balance-nxt-gear-collection-designed-protect)
10) Apparel: World Balance's athletic apparel includes running caps, athletic socks and water bottles (please remove “water bottles” as this is false and no source.). The company also manufactures a line of everyday apparel including snap button shirt-jackets, windbreakers, long-sleeved shirts and track pants, as well as hoodies, sweaters and sweatpants.[12]
11) Sponsorships: World Balance sponsors a variety of sports teams, events, leagues and individuals. Sponsorships include most teams (we do not sponsor most teams, just GInebra. Kindly remove term “most teams”) in the Philippine's major basketball league, the Philippine Basketball Association. (source: https://www.philstar.com/sports/2015/08/21/1490649/ginebra-world-balance-forge-outfitter-deal)
12) Kindly add: World Balance is a proud outfitter of the country's perennial crowd favorite, Barangay Ginebra San Miguel. Ginebra has earned a reputation in the Philippine basketball scene for its passionate fans, unrivaled game experience, and an esteemed list of players. The brand shares the long and glorious history when it comes to generations of fans who love and remain loyal to both the team and the brand. 13) Basketball: The company is the official partner of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA), providing the official licensed merchandise of all teams with over a period of several years. Kindly add: PBA fans can now wear their favorite team’s jerseys with pride as the league’s partnership allows high quality jerseys to be made available to fans nation-wide. - Some of what you propose is reasonable, much of it (e.g. the phrase "World Balance is the proud outfitter of the country's perennial crowd favorite") clearly isn't. You are more likely to get help here if you take one point at a time. Maproom (talk) 08:22, 11 March 2021 (UTC)

Please check as we have included reliable sources for each phrase. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2001:4451:749:9D00:B09F:3665:123E:1D64 (talk) 06:17, 15 March 2021 (UTC)
- I've already implemented some of these changes. Aren't you checking the current version of the article? But sentences like, "For more than 40 years, World Balance continues to provide value and comfort to their customers from different walks of life. It features a wide array of products – from clothing to accessories and of course – shoes, turning the brand into one of the leading retailers in the country" are overtly promotional and do not belong in a neutral encyclopedia article. Do not propose promotional language. It will not be accepted. Cullen328 Let's discuss it 06:23, 15 March 2021 (UTC)
