[edit]Please explain why this sounds like an advertisement or how it could be cleaned up.
The curator of this museum was coming to speak at a local vegetarian group and I was amazed to hear that such a museum existed. I tried to describe the article from a NPOV and do not make any value judgements in the text of article. I also link to several articles about museum. --mako 20:11, 10 August 2006 (UTC)
- because the article is formatted such that it only lists what the subject "has to offer"
- it's likely to fail WP:WEB if it ever goes to afd i kan reed 20:15, 10 August 2006 (UTC). remove the prod if you think it is inappropriate
- I link to two articles on the museum (including a well-known columb by Dave Barry) which seems that it be enough for WP:WEB but I can also look for more. I will try to improve the article. --mako 20:21, 10 August 2006 (UTC)
- My suggestion is to ref them, it will strengthen the viability of the article. at any rate I'm not taking this to afd yet, there's reasons prod is not the same as afd, namely that you made a decent attempt at a referenced NPOV article. i kan reed 20:24, 10 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit]Nothing has been added to the article to promote it's notability - the links are self referential, or fail to meet WP:V standards -Tiswas(t/c) 17:37, 28 November 2006 (UTC)
- Those links are to articles from major newspapers -- in the Dave Barry case, the article was also widely syndicated. The copies of the articles linked there are hosted on the museum's website, they are not produced by the museum. We could try to find other accessible copies of the articles in question would make them non self-referential I suppose. -- mako (talk•contribs) 20:13, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
