stake conference

[edit]

The article mentions General conference, but not the stake conference as a form of meeting. I have not been to the newest version that is broadcast to the stake centers and wards, so cannot give a play-by-play of them.

Mentioning the new style of meeting and the changes from the old would help expand this article gunnerclark 07:42, 24 MAY 2007 (CST)

June Conference

[edit]

There has not been a June Conference in over 30 years according to its article. Is it really still relevant to this article? Thanks, Alanraywiki (talk) 05:48, 1 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sunday Worship

[edit]

The article states "In Mormonism, worship services include weekly services, held on Sundays (or Saturday when local custom or law prohibits Sunday worship)..." -- where is it illegal to worship on Sunday? (possibly Israel?) --Aewold (talk) 03:31, 13 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Merge

[edit]

Fast and testimony meeting is really just a subtopic of the LDS Worship services, and as such should be merged here. There is just not enough that can be described in an encyclopedia article about on that topic to justify a stand alone article about it, but there is enough for a section in this article. -- 208.81.184.4 (talk) 19:58, 28 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It's been almost a year. I can safely say that this merge is non-controversial. So, I have done the merge.--ARTEST4ECHO (talk/contribs) 15:56, 20 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Title capitalization

[edit]

The title of this article, along with a provision at MOS:LDS, violates MOS:THEINST, a site-wide guideline which trumps WP:LOCALCONSENSUS. Please participate in the discussion at Wikipedia talk:Manual of Style/Latter Day Saints § Capitalization issue. Thanks. InfiniteNexus (talk) 05:10, 27 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
