Wrightia antidysenterica is sometimes treated in a separate genus Holarrhena, as Holarrhena pubescens. [THIS IS NOT TRUE - THERE WAS CONFUSION OVER THE BASIONYM FOR HOLARRHENA ANTIDYSNTERICA AND WRIGHTIA ANTIDYSENTERICA BUT THEY ARE QUITE DISTINCT SPECIES IN DIFFERENT GENERA AND HAVE NEVER BEEN TREATED AS SYNONYMS]
