"The national service of Public Broadcasting Service in the United States"

[edit]

What does that actually mean? I'm not American, so don't know what "national service" means in this context. 86.146.232.153 00:57, 16 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Exactly what it says; it's available to people nationwide (and beyond) at no cost. The sentence is oddly worded, however, and what's worse, I think it is an inaccurate statement since I can find no references to XD being used in relation to the Public Broadcasting Service or National Public Radio. --Edwin Herdman 03:34, 14 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Internet gamers use it way to often, usually immature children who have no idea what it means. I know I don't. Especially after reading this wiki. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.53.65.147 (talk) 22:14, 8 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
