Need help Expanding article!!!

[edit]

I have currently expanded this article greatly but I need help with the continued expansion of this article. If someone who has seen the film write the film's plot I would appreciate it. Also I need help with adding information on the film's reception.--Paleface Jack (talk) 20:38, 25 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

After the car dives through a bridge railing and slams into the river the occupants die. The rest of the film takes place in Yella's mind in the seconds before her death. All action following the wreck is not based in any sort of reality. There are many many clues. Her dead husband suddenly appears later in the film. She keeps hearing the same bird and wind from the river. You probably need to watch this film more than once.

Plot:

Yella leaves town to get a job in a major city

Upon departure husband is introduced - the family firm is in jeopardy, the husband is abusive.

The husband coaxes yella to driving her to the train station... not surprisingly takes a detour - discusses some specific financial topics - and drives off into a river. Both wash up - swim up - onto the bank.

Yella manages to collect herself, catch the train, and off to Hanover. Husband stalks.

The job was a false one... but Yella falls into another job - with a businessman - and eventually a conman. -Yella is, it seems, a bookkeeper.

Lots of foreshadowing around water and crows.

Business negotiations - the boyfriend is an "angel" - a money man. Angels, of course, are carnivorous greedy parasites. Abusive too, it seems.

More than once something smells of murder - is Yella crazy, is she being stalked, is she murdered, did she murder someone, psychic?

A death, a murder, a body in water - Yella runs away. A taxi - no - back in the husband's car, through the bridge and into the river.

Police recovering the scene, car, and bodies.

You pretty much know how this one is going to end after about 15 minutes. The question is what plot gimmicks do they bring along for the ride.

I would not watch this twice. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.5.108.61 (talk) 02:56, 6 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
