Re. Category: Korean collaborators with Imperial Japan

[edit]

As of now, there is nothing in this article to suggest Yi Wu willfully collaborated with the Japanese; as the Korean royal family were essentially hostages of the Empire of Japan, he was obligated to join the IJA. He should not be categorised as a collaborator unless there is reputable evidence with proper citations to support this. Aumnamahashiva (talk) 22:21, 15 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

This article's current version says: he was "supposedly reported to have supported the guerrilla resistance movements by Chinese and Korean exiles." This is dubious or a hoax. From the circumstances of his death, due to the 1st use of the Atomic bomb, and the seppuku of his aide de camp, it is highly likely that he was a collaborator and a war criminal. At best, he was a double agent. Bearian (talk) 17:40, 15 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

This was added by an IP two years ago. That the co-founder and president of Atlantic Records said this is more than dubious (and why should he be regarded as an authority in this field anyway?). I will remove this now, as I don't expect that more than a few people have their eyes on this article, if any. --Marcus Schätzle (talk) 00:55, 2 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
