Brief task list for article

[edit]
  • Add a free picture (requested from another user) - thanks Morio
  • Format references to proper footnote setup - thanks Diniz
  • Assess article on the F1 quality scale on this talk page (you're right here in it) - thanks PsychLess and 4u1e
  • Add more references for early career and brief F1 career
  • Perhaps add sections (I like sections)
  • Add more personal info (not sure where I'm going to find that...)

"The next year"

[edit]

This article seems to have too many "the next year..."/"A year later..." and "He then..." sentences. Can they be changed to give specific years please? This is the reason I put a {{confusing}} tag, as I couldn't work out the dates from the text. --Scott Davis Talk 13:41, 13 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

DNP

[edit]

It's a little misleading to have DNP under Ide's name for the races that took place after he was dropped. He wasn't entered for those races, so he should have no result (e.g. DNQ, DNP, Ret etc) posted for them. I wasn't entered either, do I get a DNP? Bretonbanquet 22:12, 1 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Don't know what's in the article (haven't looked), but I agree. Standard way is to blank out the races a driver does not compete in during a season. Guroadrunner 18:56, 13 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

That second link sure isn't a very nice one. Open it, and you will notice it's a joke, due to his erratic driving. I am going to remove it, but I will keep the link here of someone would actually find that stupid link any good.. --Chrill 22:00, 6 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'd say it was now at B, could use a little more on the guy's personal life for GA and I'd like to see more detail on racing outside F1, but it's in pretty good shape now. 4u1e 08:21, 22 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

infoboxes

[edit]

I guess this article needs a "motorsports driver" template in addition to the "F1 driver" template. Hmmm... Someone remind me to figure a way to stick that in without bunging up the article with too many top-heavy infoboxes Guroadrunner 11:30, 23 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
