Despite maintaining a low profile, Rabbi Epstein is one of today's most highly respected senior Torah sages. I recommend keeping this article.

Rabbi Epstein spells his first name "Zelik" in English (see any of his approbations, e.g. to one of the Artscroll Gemaras in the Schottenstein Edition of the Talmud; see also Reb Yaakov by Yonasan Rosenblum, p. 146 (Mesorah Publications, 1993)), although it is usually pronounced "Zelig." I suggest that the article be renamed "Zelik Epstein," with a redirect from "Zelig Epstein" Danielb613 (talk) 18:30, 30 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
